With All Hallows Eve (Halloween) right around the corner, which is followed by All Saints' Day on November 1st, and Souls' Day, on November 2nd, I was inspired by Día de los Muertos, the Mexican equivalent. I worked in my art journal using Conté pencils and micron pens. I did not have time to complete the drawing in the allotted time, but I feel I got the feeling of the festivity. I've discovered the more tools or media I use, the longer it takes me to complete a drawing. For more information about the origins of this holiday and more of my artwork, click here and here. I hope you enjoy it. Have a blessed week.
